Orvess is responsible for how personal information submitted through this website is used. For questions or to exercise your rights, contact contact@orvess.nl.
Information you provide
If you send an enquiry, we receive your name, organization, business email address, project description and any service area you choose. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, trade secrets or confidential customer data.
Why we use it
We use this information to assess your request, communicate with you and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. Processing to take steps toward a contract at your request relies on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For business contacts acting for an organization, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries is the basis under Article 6(1)(f).
We also process limited technical information to protect the website from abuse. The contact endpoint uses short-lived, salted IP-address hashes for rate limiting. The original address is not included in the enquiry email. Hosting infrastructure may maintain security and request logs under its own retention controls.
Service providers
The website is designed for hosting on Netlify, enquiry-email delivery through Resend and abuse prevention through Upstash. When configured, these providers process information needed to perform those functions on our behalf. We do not sell enquiry data or use it for advertising.
These services may process data outside the European Economic Area. You can ask Orvess for information about the applicable locations, processing terms and international-transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details of the arrangements in effect.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry information only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting business relationship or legal obligation. Short-lived abuse-limiting records expire after 15 minutes. If an enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, contact us to request deletion; statutory requirements may affect what can be removed.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set analytics cookies, collect marketing analytics or run session replay. If you change the motion setting, your preference is stored for this browser tab and is not used for analytics. Essential hosting and security functions may process technical request information. If we introduce analytics that require consent, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate controls before collection starts.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send your request to contact@orvess.nl. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
You may also complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
